^{Cas tried to shut heaven down with the help of metatron, an angel, who he thought, had the same intentions like him. He helped to collect 2 of the 3 trials to "shut heaven down" (so no angel can walk on earth) . When they had achieved the second trial, the bow from cupid, metatron gets "kidnapped" by naomi (another angel). Dean gets suspicious about the heaven trials and calls kevin (the prophet) and asks, if these trials (to shut down heaven) are really on the tablet (the word of god). Cas cannot wait and zaps himself up to heaven where he finds Metatron. Cas gets betrayed by him. Castiel's grace is taken by Metatron, so he can complete the trial to expel the angels from heaven. Cas gets send back to earth - and all of his angel brothers and sisters fall down to earth - their wings burning and disappearing}
